AR Bolt & Carrier Question

Any of you guys/gals ever used a Fail Zero BBCG, or a TiN group in your AR? Looking for a real hands-on critique. I see a lot of pile-on type "reviews" in other forums, where folks never used them but cant pass up the opportunity to comment. I know it's not a Robarms thing, but I know a lot of you collect DI AR's and trust your feedback and lack of asshatness!

Are you talking about the Tin BCG (Gold color) from DPMS? I did use that one. It was easier to clean by being gold not black. You have to use it with mil-spec chamber. What I mean is a custom barrel like Les Baer might give you problems. It will last longer dry compared to a regular BCG. But still need to lube it. It is better, BUT nothing like the XCR or AK. And that is with the DI system.

thanks for the reply, yeah, I think Bushmaster makes the TiN one. I am more interested in the Fail Zero Nickle Boron (or whatever they use), but the TiN one caught my eye too. When you say "it was easier to clean by being gold not black" do you mean it was easier to see the dirt and clean it off, due to the gold color, or that the surface treatment made the thing clean up faster?
