Promotive (discounts for "industry" from "industry")

All, stumbled on this a few days ago when I found out this was the website that Leupold uses to offer their military discount to mil/LEO. The prices are just to good to pass up, I had to share.

    www.promotive.com

The key here is being able to join a "team". Different teams have different brands that they can purchase from. The military/DOD team is the one with leupold. If you are military it is easy to join up. There are other teams as well, for tactical instructors, Shooting USA, LEO, yoga or fitness instructors, etc... I think there are 50 pages of teams.

Just as an example, Crimson Trace is 60% off right now. That is the only thing I ordered as I wanted to try the service out but you can't beat the discount if you qualify.

Log on, check it out. You would be surprised by the teams.

Thanks for the heads-up. If Leupold ever invents a MOA reticle I might be all over this.

Also I seem to get really good deal with Leupolds from a local dealer. How much for this one right here, close to $1050? http://www.nightoptics.com/pc/Leupol...ted+Matte.html

Looks interesting, too bad it does not seem that I can qualify for a team with the brands I would be interested in.

I didn't see the M2 in a 3.5x10, just the M1 and M3. The M3 with illum TMR is just shy of the price you asked if it was close to.

    This one

    http://www.nightoptics.com/pc/Leupol...cal+Matte.html

is about $150 less so it is a good deal if they have something you want.

    Hey, that's my scope!

I wish they had it in a FFP model though.

Darn, I have been looking for a couple of Crimson Trace grips too. I joined but think I need to be Invited or placed in a team based on profile.

I like Leupold glass, but ever since I used an MOA reticle with MOA knobs it makes on the fly adjustments so much easier. Yeah you can do it will mildot with MOA knobs, but that's more thinking and even then not as precise.

What MOA is the reticle on the rimfire scopes? Works fine on the XCR-AR 5.56 (per Leupold ok)

No clue. I just know the Mark-4's are all Mildot based reticles.
