I picked up the 9.5" .300 kit earlier this year. I run the SilencerCo Omega on it. A real nice set up that has been totally reliable. Stay away from the Magtech ammo. The primers showed signs of overpressure and I could feel the extreme recoil when firing a round. By the way, this is the newest version of the rifle just before the keymod option. I ordered it as a pistol and added the stock after the paperwork was approved. I prefer this stock on the SBR. I do have a fast stock on my full size XCR.

Anyone run across some decent priced 300BLK ammo? Looking for the heavier 220 grain subsonic stuff. Thanks!

I really like ozark ordnance. Their shipping has gotten expensive but it's a good product. I've not shot their heavier stuff but the 147 had been a great plinking round

I have the problem with my xcr-l in .300 blk. After one to two hundred rounds I can't move the gas dial with out removing the barrel. To remedy this problem I fabricated an adjustment tool and modified the gas dial. It's what robarms should have done when they came out with the .300 blk.conversion.THE 300 Blk XCR-xcr-gas-wrench-installed.jpg

With my Blackout conversion after the first couple of hundred rounds my gas dial wouldn't move. Upon taking it apart, I found a buildup of copper appearing residue. I cleaned it off (actually had to use a fine small file to remove it). No further buildup has occurred since then.
