NEW INFORMATION ON ROBINSON ARMS, FROM ALEX ROBINSON, AUGUST 4 2010

    Dear RA Customers:

We regret the loss of Terra. She was an angel. However, we are fully committed to vastly improving our service department. We are behind on servicing some firearms. We do apologize. There has been a lack of good documentation but we hope to have every firearm and part fixed and returned correctly withing the next two weeks. After that we will take no longer than one week to fix any XCR that comes in unless the barrel is bad and we don't have any of that type in stock which could mean a few weeks to turn around a new barrel (they have to be chrome plated). You will be required to fill out a service ticket so that we can better assess your problems and correct them.

On a positive note, we have the XCR-M .308 almost finished. We will begin taking deposits in 1 to 2 weeks for a fall deliveries. Please do not try to place and order until we post that we are ready to take orders on our website. The XCR-M is everything we hoped for. We do need some guidance on what other calibers and rates of twist for the barrels of those calibers that you'd like to see. Here's some questions we need answered from you forum guys:

    1. What other calibers and what rates of twist would you like to see? We're thinking .308 1/12 for NATO and 150 gr ammo and 1/10 for 168 Match ammo. We're looking at .260 Remington and .243 also.
    2. What barrel lengths?

You can email [email protected] and your comments will be collected. Also, if you have any service problems, please use that address also.

    Sincerely,

    Alex J. Robinson
    Manager
    Robinson Armament Co.

Look out, you'll screw up Mickey's "it's never going to be here" theory with news like that!

And there goes my plans for being completely out of debt.
Do you really think we want laws to be observed? We want them broken. There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. When there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be crimes that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants law-abiding citizens? Pass the kind of laws that can’t be observed, enforced, or objectively interpreted - and you create a nation of law-breakers.

seriously. if he truly plans for fall deliveries people might like to actually see what they are pre-ordering.

right now I'm more interested in the new stock, ambi mag release, 1/7 barrels, and a gas block sight for the 5.56.

308 NATO for me. Barrel lengths 12, 16 and 18 would be perfect! 8)

Definitely need pics. I'm most interested in a 260 rem 1:8-1:9 twist for heavy bullets 18" heavy barrel. I like the idea of a gas block rail for a sight on the block to help w bbl changes.
