Picked up this XCR-L used about a year or so ago and so far I've been pretty happy with the gun - it's been reliable and reasonably accurate. I'm eagerly awaiting the 6.5 Grendel kits to show up in Canada, hopefully I can get one in time for this year's hunting season. I also picked up a DLASK adapter at the end of my range day and haven't had a chance to use anything aside from the FAST stock.
Anyway, here's some eye candy. The load shown below is a Hornady 68gr BTHP over 24.9gr of Ramshot TAC - 2.2" @ 200 yds. I've also had good luck with Sierra 69gr SMKs over 26gr of Win 748 - this load grouped roughly 1.4-1.5" at 110yds. I also tried the Hornady 75gr BTHP w/c with Ramshot TAC and the best group I had at 200yds was approximately 4". I suspect that the poor performance has something to do with the 1:9 twist barrel and the marginal stability it provides those particular bullets.
