RobertSlaughter liked post by abran007 On thread : Barrel retention screw
Barrel screws coming loose had nothing to do with generational changes to the platform and had everything to do with people not reading and following directions. Make sure it is properly torqued...

https://survivalblog.com/from-beginning-prepper-to-full/ I’ve always kind of liked this one too. It’s simplified but it shows that having even a modest plan will help you.

I thought the same thing reading it, every time someone brings that crap up during a discussion I challenge them for their “freedom of speech training certificate and permit.” It usually draws a very...

This is an issue for me personally “Tennessee mandates proper training regarding the safe and legal use of handguns — as I think all states should do before issuing permits.” Permits to begin...

Marketing is a big part of it. Look at Glock. Now just about every manufacturer has polymer framed striker fired offerings. Some even dismissed Glock in their early goings. It's not enough to have a...

Point taken. I still like the platform. And as a fan of it, would like to see it pushed further and take the next step. Isn't it funny how the US military is now all Sig all the time?

Meh....IMO, other than the weight, the XCR is still the best platform out there. The cost is on the high side too...especially for parts, but considering the scale of manufacturing, isn't surprising.

Like Sean said, probably easier to buy a new one. There's nothing wrong with the old ones. The new trigger would be a nice touch but the uppers aren't cheap. Getting into the new bcg would...

Yes...but it will likely be expensive as the KM uppers are around $400+ new. Probably cheaper to buy a new one than try to upgrade EVERYTHING on an old one.
