    So I took my 16’ barrel to my local gunsmith and asked him to cut and rethread it down to 12’ inches but he wasn’t sure if it would mess with the harmonics or blow the rifle up. Is it safe to have the barrel cut down to 12’ inches? I was really not trying to wait months to get an OEM barrel...
