Anyone know when and where we can purchase mags for the 7.62x39 rifle when we get it? Will we be able to use any old AK mag?

You won't be able to use AK MAG'S. The new mags will be modified AR mags made by C-PRODUCTS. I think they have 20 rounders already made.

Not sure why RA didn't make the 7.62 compatible with the Russian AK mags...sure wish they would...would make it easy to find nice mags for it.

You would have to have a different lower for the AK-MAG. Changing the concept of the gun.

Yes our plate is really full. Here is a list of product releases...7.62x39, May 9th, .308 May 19th, 5.45 May 12th, 9mm block June 12th, rail covers June 19th.

I just inquired with C-Products regarding 10/30 mags - specifically mentioning 7.62x39 XCR - for those of us in the (not so) free states. Their reply:
No, we only make a 10/10 for the 7.62.

That is technically a true statement. They only make 10 rounders right now. I thought they are still developing the 30 rounders.

Yes, there will be a 30 rd magazine. I was informed that they have been tested on the XCR and work just fine. If C Products is being close-mouthed, it's probably because they don't want to say anything without making sure it's okay to be public.

Well, I hope C-Products is also doing 10/30 mags as well. I wouldn't think that'd be much of a problem for them.

I don't. I don't know what Wolverine even has on order right now. I think it's just more 5.56s. I'd have to check when I have access to my work 'pooter.

Is it possible to order extra 30 rounders with my 7.62...I would like to make sure I have a couple extra. Is one coming with my rifle Terra?

You live in Virginia... So no. You can have 5 rd magazines. ;D
I kid. As far as I know, there is no legislation against the 30 rd magazines there.
