I would, too. But they still need magazines for the 7.62x39 conversion. Until that, I don't believe we'll see a 5.45mm conversion.
Also, how much longer it remains relatively cheap is debatable. This last weekend at Knob, 5.45 was running $150 to $180 a case. Not pretty. Beats the hell out of .223, but not too long ago it was $100 a case. The writing is on the wall: it's all about the reloading.
