My kit arrived today, took it to the range after the conversion and wow!!! We have a winner. I took some pics and video which I will post later.
The conversion was easy, took about 2 minutes to do. I was shooting the XCR with a Barska long range scope, bi-pod and fore grip at 100yrds. I was shooting Brown Bear 7.62 ammo and was able to shoot about 200 rounds. I am happy to report, no failure to feeds and no failure to fires. The XCR performed flawlessly.
I had quite a group of fellow shooters inquire on the XCR and will post a pic of one of the other shooters with the XCR (south paw). The farm I went to shoot at allowed rapid fire so I put the XCR to the test and it didn't even phase the XCR.
At 100yrds, I was getting 1" groups. I was impressed. BTW, there is a significant difference in recoil between the 5.56 and 7.62 rounds with the XCR. You know you are really stepping up with the 7.62 kit.
Stay tuned, pics to come later.
Whooohooo!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
