For a long time now, we have not been able to import any of the VEPRs from Russia. They don't want to do business with us, they're busy building more factories. At least, that's what they've told us. So, we have not been able to get any more parts, guns, or anything else from them.
So I get these emails and phonecalls from guys wanting spare parts kits for their VEPRs. I tell them I can't sell them any... and they get upset and write me nasty emails.
It's really not something that can be helped. If a part breaks, we will be more than happy to replace it. But to send someone 10 of each spare part... that's just not something we can do.
Same for the M96. We don't have it in production anymore... we MAY, someday, start them up again... because it was a popular gun, and people really liked it. Alex has mumbled a couple times about possible making it alongside the XCR. But there's no promises there... and what we have in inventory right now is.... it.
So guys... spread the word to anyone who mentions it. I really wish I could help all these guys... It sucks that they bought a gun and can't get spare parts for it now... But there really isn't anything that we can do about it. :(

I sold my VEPR at just the wrong time: right before they stopped importing them. I looked at the values like a month later, and discovered I could have got like twice the resale if I'd just waited a matter of weeks.

Yeah I've people harp on the VEPR thing often on forums before

Perhaps a formal statement on your website about the VEPR product line might help. Just say flat out you no longer have a VEPR contract and dont have the means to support that product line. It would be like people getting mad at Century Arms because they cant support the FAMAS which they imported over a decade ago.

Educate the best you can

Communication is definitely the key. Most people get upset more because there's no information or no response to their inquiries. Posting a statement on the situation on the web site hopefully would cut down the grief to you.

OK Here's a statement - NO MORE VEPRS FROM US.

We'd like to have imported more. Molot would not meet our demands to have some changes made. They also didn't give us very good support the last few years. I would still sell them if I could.

Sincerely,

Thanks for a great .223/5.56 Vepr II K rifle. Where can I get the .223 magazine followers? I have plenty of 5.45 bulgy mags that already fit and all I need is to just change the followers.

What is the feasibility of changing the .223 vepr barrel to a Robarms 6.5x39 barrel conversion. If you ever offer this service, I am definitely a customer. Thank you for your time and consideration on this matter.

We do sell the .223 magazine followers. We're out of them at the moment, but Alex will order more once he gets through all the other orders. If you'd like, you can call me, and we'll get an order set up for you.
