I've heard the white box american eagle stuff for break ins. There is a WHOLE lot of different tastes out there. Are you plinking or looking to target ammo? There are some match grade suggestions that others can help you out with as well.

What ammo are you currently using?.What kind of groups are you getting, and expecting? Keep in mind this is not a target rifle. If your looking for the best accuracy, have you tried any match/target type of ammunition? Standard fmj ammo may show some suprising accuracy,it is not designed for that purpose. That's why match ammo costs so much,is that more care is taken to adhere to consistency standards.

recheck and tighten the barrel bolt, scope mounts or sight screws to start.

what size groups are you getting with what ammo?

I can get decent groups with about everything I can put thru it (and thats some crappy ammo too!!)

i hav used all kinds of ammo from hornady to wolf , i just cant find anything consistant. i can dial my xcr in @ 30 yards with just about any ammo & shoot half inch groups all day long. but when i move that target to 100 yds i am not hanging it on the fridge when i get home. ;D

If you aren't haveing any issues at 30 then you shouldn't have any at 100. If you are having problems being consistent and want BR type results you will need to do some work to the trigger. other than that it may be technique. I don't know, I don't have any issues grouping at 100 and hitting plates even further.

The trigger has a lot to do with it. If the take up and pull weight is unpredicatable then your shots wont be consistent. Consistency is the key when shooting for accuracy. Get a consistant trigger pull and you will see your results improve.
