I assume that the rifle will fire both commercial .308 and surplus 7.62x51 Nato, not just the NATO.

But I was just curious if anyone had heard anything about being able to handle maybe 300 WSM or 30 TC or some sort of more powerful short action round.

That is what I figured, but you never know.... It is always a good idea to think of the future, even while dealing with issues from the past or present.

.243 and .260 come to mind as being pretty easy to do. They would only require a barrel change.

7mm-08 and 338 federal would be an easy switch and I am think 22-250 would be doable as well.

The .260/6.5mm would be at the top of my shopping list. I recently had the opportunity of shooting an AR in .260 and it was sweet as can be. The rifle produced some very nice groups out to 300 meters, which was max for the range we were using. :2cents:
