Anyone Running the New Primary Arms Pistol Red Dots Or Have Suggestions?

At $150, they seem like they're too good to be true. Lifetime warranty and ability to fit both larger and smaller compact frames.

Trying to help a friend mount a red dot on her new defensive handgun (she picked a S&W Equalizer). I think the $600+ Trijicon RMRcc is out....it's just too expensive. I'm not sure yet (have an email in to S&W) what mounting patterns the Equalizer uses. I'd wager RMR and RMSc are at least a few of the ones available.

Holosun's Ti red dots have good ratings....but are pushing over $400. Not sure if some of their aluminum K mount optics would be a good choice in the $300-400 range.

The Shield RMSc seems overpriced for what it is at $400....and I dont' think has proven itself that reliable.

I know she'd like something that didnt' require suppressor height sights. Any suggestions?

I'd suggest one of the eps dots. Can use regular irons and it has shake awake.

How do you tell if they require suppressor height sights?
Most dots do. The eps is designed to be as low profile as possible. Use the eps carry if it's rmrc pattern

Wanting to avoid suppressor ht. sights if possible. Thanks.

From Holosun's website: "The EPS Carry is a compact enclosed pistol sight designed for concealed carry weapon. The EPS Carry features 2 MOA dot, 7075 T6 aluminum housing and our lowest deck height, facilitating use with standard height iron sights on many pistol models."
Most of PA‘s other optics have been very good for the price, compared to similar offerings. Hopefully, these will follow suit. I’ll likely be giving these a try as I have a FN502 that is begging for a red dot and a Sig 365 that would be a good test bed for one.

I have the PA exclusive Holosun 507c Vulcan red dot.

It’s ok.

It shows 2 dots on occasion. Very very very close together. But 2 none the less. I’ve had it REPLACED twice from PA. It still happens.

The china shit is getting better but it’s still china.

Is it this one? I think that's the same one I was looking at:

Close.

It’s this one with the chevron dot.

I really like it, but inside it often shows 2 chevrons. I guess if you use the site as intended, looking at the target, you don’t really notice it, but if you focus on the chevron, you can see 2 of them. Only when it’s dark though. If it’s bright outside, it doesn’t happen.

Thanks for the added info....I'll check it out tonight.
Nothing but great experience with the PA micro dots. Literally thousands of rounds through 3 of them and never a problem.

They will take care of you.
