When I arrived I found one of those envelopes I so love to get. Inside was the paperwork for the new addition to the family (she's the one on top). POF 9.25 upper and POF p416
genII lower. She isn't complete yet, I'll be adding a Timney trigger, new stock (possibly a UBR), new optics, pistol grip, and bi-lock flash hider for suppressor. I did the paper work through my trust and folks it was EASY. No LEO, no fingerprints, or photo. I highly suggest you look into it if you want to make your NFA life easier.

That looks good...Those POF uppers are real nice.
Prizm,

That 416 deserves VLTOR's new bi-lock flash-hider (as does the XCR, although I love the PWS stuff too).

I had to do a double take when I saw the picture. After so many photoshopped "dream guns" people have posted, sometimes it's hard to tell what is real and what came to someone in a dream. ;D

That's an awesome SBR. I can't wait to read the range report and see some action shots... if possible.

Cheers!

LOL! I know photoshop but not that well. My skills are limited in that arena. No, it's real and when I get it completed and it warms up a bit, I'll be sure to give a range report. :)
Is that a C-More optic?
The is the reticle like?

Thanks,
B.

Yes. It's just a red dot like you might see on an Aimpoint. I like the C-more because it give you a less obstructed view. From a tactical standpoint I think the Aimpoint is definitely more durable. But C-more has an aluminum frame optic now.
Sweet!

Very nice addition indeed!

How long did your stamp take?

It was just over 60 days... and that was including them sending it back to me to correct an error on the form. After I corrected it and sent it in it came back to me in about a week and a half.
I went by Daniel Defense today and they had some nice uppers unpacking from SHOT...a few of the new PWS adjustable gas ones and a 7" upper that looked like way to much fun for one person.

Everytime I go there I spend way to much money.
Yes that sounds like a dangerous place to visit for sure.

Prizm, can I get a Hi-res of that shorty, in some sort of nice background type pic? You can email it to me at [email protected]

I'll see what I can do, Aziator.
This thread makes me want to SBR another lower! ;D

Nice rifles.
VERY NICE...

Alas, I must remain [glow=red,2,300]patient[/glow] while my paperwork (trust sent!) is processed.
so with the trust you don't need a picture or fingerprint card?

I thought it just bypassed the necessity for a signoff from you cleo...

what did you use to do your trust? I've heard willmaker or some such software works well, I need to look into this I've had my form1 paperwork laying around for months without bothering to get the stuff done because a trust seems much better :duh:
I was in my local gun shop chatting with one of the counter guys... this guy is not an idiot; he's done his own machine gun transfer within the last year.

Anyhow, he said that he heard the NFA branch has a new acting director or something, and that turn around times on form 1s and 4s are starting to get long again. Any truth to that?
