60grain 545 is the most affordable thing right now but some surplus czech 52grain just dropped. in theory would 52gr ammo stabilize better out of a short barrel then 60gr? the barrel has a 1/8 twist

Ah, got you.

My krink is a 1:8 twist and seems to work well for being 8” long. I’ve shot all sorts of ammo through it, but mostly 7N6.

I think the faster twist rate tends to stabilize more options better. But how many different options for 5.45 are there?
