Bushmaster ACR 10.5" 5.56 BBL for Sale

I've heard some stories about ACR guys paying crazy prices for spares. Not cocaine and BJs or anything but maybe it's time to move on from a dead platform. At least RA is making new stuff still...... I mean we can't get it in a timely fashion or anything but at least the population is still increasing.

I thought the new owners were gear production back up.

Last gearing up I heard about was 6.8spc and .450BM conversions. That was a couple years back.

Franklin armery bought bushmaster last year when remington sold. Franklin/Bushy have a coming soon tab on their website. So only time will tell what kind of production gear up they will actually do.

I did consider getting an ACR before I went with the XCR. I did manage to track one from someone nearby who wanted $3K for his, but I thought better of it. Glad I dodged having to buy expensive, hard to find proprietary parts and Bushmaster's dodgy quality control. Seriously, no one should complain about the XCR's use of proprietary parts when the ACR is filled from butt to muzzle with many small and unique parts that do all sorts of things for the rifle.

I'll be curious to see how Franklin handles quality control for the rifle. I hope it beats having to keep track over whether a particular rifle was made in Windham, ME or Illion, NY and which one had better construction out of them.

I have an ACR so i guess I'm in this boat. 😢
