Camo M&P

Thought I'd share a photo of a friend's M&P. He did all the work you see including the trigger which is @ about 3.5lbs. Guys got a lot of talent. He's only 22 yrs. old.

Re: Camo M&P

He did the stippling himself?

That has to be one of the best stippling jobs on a tuperware gun I've ever seen.

Most look like a 3rd grader got happy with the hot tip, this one looks perfect, well thought out, well implemented.
Re: Camo M&P

I think I would be talking this guy into doing my XCR, if it were me.
Re: Camo M&P

Juice- yes he did the stipling as well. It's all his work. He did the stipling on my 9mm M&P as well.

Gunner- I asked him to do my XCR last week. He said yes. Problem is it's going to take a long while and it won't be cheap. But we always work a deal out.
Re: Camo M&P

That looks real nice...My wife shoots an M&P and loves it. I am still trying to convince her I need my own in 9mm too, along with one in .45
Re: Camo M&P

You need to tell thia guy that he could start a business doing cammo work on guns. You have the forum here, and there are a hell of a lot more places he could advertise on the internet. ::)
Re: Camo M&P

Prizm,

What finish has he used, and how durable is it?

It looks great!
Re: Camo M&P

An XCR in the first example would be a real eye catcher, at the range. ??? ??? ???
Re: Camo M&P

ya mean like this ;D ....dam nice lookin finish on the pistol there. Now i got a go and get a new toy to paint up i like it so much, Gunner 69 the problem with refinishing guns is ya need a licensee to log them in if they are out of state .Also its nice to see more multi cam being used lately i realy like the pattern much better than the new army digital. between the stippling and the cammo now i want a M&P 45 . dang i promised the wife i wouldnt buy any more guns in 2008, just ammo oh well i still have a day ::)

Re: Camo M&P

Sweep,

Could you take and post another photo of your camo XCR with a different background? So we can see your rifle ;D

It's DuraKote, Aussie. And it seems to be very durable. He's had it in and out of Kydex a lot and there are a couple of marks but other than that it's pretty tough.
Re: Camo M&P

Lars from Odin Arms does some great finishes, if anybody wants one.
Re: Camo M&P

I wish I was gutsy enough to put an Urban Camo job on my XCR

Re: Camo M&P

Hey Prism, I'm with Aussie..... I want the cammo XCR on a different background so the cammo stands out. ??? ??? ???

Gunner, I think you mean that for Sweep. He's got the XCR in camo. But isn't the idea of camo to NOT stick out? :-\ ;D
Re: Camo M&P

Anyone have a source for Duracoat that is reasonably priced?
Re: Camo M&P
