I changed my gasblock out to the new kind, and now my gas tube rattles around, is this normal? Is there any fix?

Do you have it in with the holes on the side pointing in, towards the barrel? Sometimes if it's not in right that will happen.
There isn't really a fix, other than maybe replacing it and seeing if the slightly different tolerance helps. Try pulling out your op rod and gas tube, the whole assembly, and putting it all back in. See if that helps. If not, PM me.

My gas tube has a little fore and aft and up and down play in it. I would assume that it is normal. My FAL had the same thing. I figure as long as the gas rod returns as it is supposed to all is good.

Mine always had a slight amount of play. It doesn't rattle, though.

I had the same problem.

I cut a wave spring into 20 degrees less then a full circle. I then placed it over the gas block gas tube port and up to the gas tube. The spring holds the gas tube in place, yet allows it to move if it has to. Now I don't have any rattle in the gas tube.

My adjustable gas port rattled as well but I used an AR-15 gas ring and trimmed it a bit and placed it in the adjustable gas port and now that does not rattle ether.

But I did notice a rattle in the gas piston last time I cleaned my XCR.
It fires flawlessly though but my buffer is toast, got to call Terra to
order more.

The piston itself does have a sliding weight inside, so that part is normal.

I only have a few hundred rounds downrange. I guess the break-in
period is over? I've been off island since shortly after getting her.
When I get back home I'll turn down the gas setting and I'm sure
I won't have any more buffer issues.

That's interesting about the weight in the piston tube.
