Fiocchi Ammo for break in period?

I have thoroughly read the owners manual, lube her up and placed locite on the ejector bolts. This week I will break her in. In the manual its states to use Hot loads for the break in. I will break her in by feeding her 600 rounds of FMJ Fiochhi. Will Fiocchi be concidered "hot". I don't no much about it. I hope this ammo is not the same as the Wolf. I just want to make sure I break her in right! thanks.

you can try. If you start experiencing problems, it's likely the rifle doesn't like the ammo. She's picky about what she eats. :)

I will add that they are somewhat picky about what they eat during break in. Once break in is over throw whatever you have down its throat.
I shot a lot of Fiocchi Ammo while stationed in Europe. They have a fine reputation over there. I would expect you WON'T have a problem with it. Their 9mm Luger and .45 ACP is great. Also shot a bunch of their shotgun ammo that was good. Try it, you will most likely like it. Good Luck :2cents:

Right. :) After break in, she's kind of a pig... ;D
Fiocchi is great ammo to shoot in the XCR new or broken in.
I shot 250 rounds of the Fiocchi today. I would like to report that all 250 rounds worked without a hicup. Just thought you guys would want to know. ;D

I wanted to shoot more but I ran out of time. Next week I will lower the gas setting to #2? Should I shoot 50 more rounds at #4?

PS Terra thanks for your help today. My stock is back to normal.
