Really? ??? MMM K..
Skeptical?

The gas tube cant be affixed to the gas block. To do so would make the XCR less of a free float design. It cant be forged into the upper either, as they are two different metals

The tube also protects the oprod from foreign matter and the upper from the oprod.

The gas tube wiggles with every shot, which also shakes loose carbon, debris and foreign matter, which then vents out the gas tube holes. This keeps the action cleaner.

If the barrel had a tight lock up with the gas block accuracy could be hurt, and it would retain more gunk in the action

I'm gonna try the patented "Terra smoosh the gas tube" trick. I don't like the rattling so much. I appreciate the design though. The amount of barrel harmonics it disrupts would be minimal to worry me. Keep the tube clean? Maybe spiral flutes, aka the fluted carbon cutters from the old M60 would be an upgrade.
