i don't think it is 12% of the population, it is 12% of the counties. There is a difference. goats, sheeps, and coyotes don't count.

Smart guy. what worries me is how close it was. The democratic states won had a larger margin than the republican staes/counties. That tells me there was a big swing in favor of Obama and if he can spin his publicity in four years his margins could be bigger and more states/counties may fall.

Its sort of pretty isn't it ? It seems like a beacon of hope in dark times and uncertainty.
And thanks to a handful of fighters in Congress it is still considered one of the flags belonging to the USA .
So when they tell you any different or your a racist or unpatriotic they need to go read the proper laws attached to it.
You are totally allowed to fly this one ,for now unless we tell them where to stick it.
Even the Blacks that screwed Georgia were not able to Pull anything on this one or the Bonnie Blue.

Sorry guys, a lot of people are saying that ,and they changed it last night when people were freaking out over the fact we really kicked their ass.
The news said that McCain after they threw out all of the Acorn votes had won Ohio ,Missouri , and several other states.
But McCrap conceded before they had even counted all the votes in the West correctly.
And these States were tossed into obamas camp , CSNBC is saying it was a tie or very close.
Now tell me this election wasn't rigged?

We've suffered before, worse than we ever thought at the time (Jimmy Carter sucked monkey nutz!) - but my point is to stay focused.

Having spent some miserable time, doing some miserable stuff, I've learned to simply take a positive attitude and not let that shit fry my ability to focus.

Now I am not pontificating here - I am just a simple man who wants (and will) keep his guns. If the worst happens - they may get a few, but they won't get 'em all... ;D

Phalanx - I'm on your side, so I don't understand your 'mouse' comments. Maybe they weren't directed at me - maybe they were.

Regardless, let me try to say it a different way...

My point of wanting to stay focused is very simple. Some people like to get in your face and fight. Hey, that's cool - and in some cases it is VERY relevant and quite appropriate. But there is also a need for some people to be calm and not give a knee jerk reaction to every adverse situation that comes along. Not everyone has a Type A personality, and all I was saying is that I've learned that with (some) situations - you just have to be calm and focused. This attitude could very well save your life one day.

About 25 years ago, a situation quickly escalated to the point where I had a loaded gun shoved in my face in the middle of a crowded sidewalk in broad daylight. The MFer threatened to kill me because I didn't want to buy a bag of weed. Unarmed, I had no choice but to remain calm and deal with the situation. If I had ran my mouth - I might not be here today. I chose what I thought was the best way to deal with the situation.

You do what you think is right - I'll do what I think.

Without meaning to sound like some bullshit TV commercial - maybe together we can make a difference.
