I am on and off again with the folding stock. I am running it again right now as it seems to work better with my 3X magnifier. If you go with a M4 style, I prefer the fixed slider not the folder. The gun looks cleaner and I get a better index. I don't like the bulk of the collapsible/folder hinge.
The gun is awesome. I've shot it from 0 to 100 degrees, in snow and rain and never had a problem. To me, the best endorsement I can give is that I can have a department issued micro galil, an AR with 11.5, 14.5 or 16 inch barrel and I carry the XCR for patrol and Swat. It is reasonably weighted, utterly reliable and very accurate.
