WASHINGTON - Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton said Sunday she might be willing to garnish the wages of workers who refuse to buy health insurance to achieve coverage for all Americans.
The New York senator has criticized presidential rival Barack Obama for pushing a health plan that would not require universal coverage. Clinton has not always specified the enforcement measures she would embrace, but when pressed on ABC's "This Week," she said: "I think there are a number of mechanisms" that are possible, including "going after people's wages, automatic enrollment."
Clinton said such measures would apply only to workers who can afford health coverage but refuse to buy it, which puts undue pressure on hospitals and emergency rooms. With her proposals for subsidies, she said, "it will be affordable for everyone."
Unless she can kiss Edwards ass and ask him to be her runing mate, she's got almost no hope. Bill is pissing everyonw off and she is so full of shit it's finally starting to smell.
She's insane. They all are!
Whatever the government does regarding health care will be a disaster.
It would be foolhardy to turn over the care of our bodies to the same entity that can't even fix our roads.
There is another factor, corruption. I have a saying that goes like this, "There is no good thing that one man can do, that another man can't corrupt."
Corruption and fraud are already rampant in Medicare and Medicaid.
If anyone really wants to fix health care, let me know.
Whether alot of people realize it or not, this IS THE most crucial election in probably our lifetime. this time around NO candidate is worth what I flushed down the toilet this morning and with the exception of Huckabee, the 2nd amendment is in serious trouble, VERY serious trouble.
Well the 2nd might just might get new life next month when the Supreme Court hears the Heller Argument. I have started a new topic about. Take a look at my other post on this matter.
I think the SCOTUS has stated that they are only going to rule on the DC gun ban, and in that context only rather than make a generic decision. It will be whether the gun ban is legal and not what the second ammendment means. Otherwise known as a cop out.
