What kind of gun holster do police use?

Safariland makes the most reputable duty holsters out there. I have seen officers use custom holsters before though. Depends really on what your gun setup is.

Safariland in most cases, but as far as I know, the California Highway Patrol, the LA Police Dept. and the San Francisco Police Dept. use AKER holsters.

Not sure how many LEO use this brand but Dara holsters makes some nice level 2 retention holsters for pretty much any even semi popular pistol.
