LARRY CORREIA sucks. He's a jerk who publicly trashes Alex and Robarms every chances he gets.

I dont know all the details but Larry owns FBMG and used to sell Veprs for Robarms. Who knows what happened but apparently the two had a falling out. Rumor has it that he was gouging VEPR's and everyone knows stuff like that drives Alex up the wall. So Alex stopped selling him VEPR. Who knows if it is true, but you dont see FBMG listed as a Utah dealer anywhere on the Robarm's site. This is all conjecture but clearly something happened.

Now Larry Correia goes out of his way to say negative things about Alex and the XCR anywhere and everywhere he gets the chance. For example, last time I saw him at Crossroads gunshow he kept saying Robarms was going under because they didnt get the SCAR contract; this was over a year ago. His comments on numerous forums is almost always negative. When he was selling Robarms products he was filled with nothing but praise so without question it is personal.

George Hill, AKA Mad Ogre, is another Utah local moron who has a hard-on for Alex. So much so he was willing to say Robarms was going under...mind you this was way back in 2002 and Alex is still selling XCR's so who was right and who was wrong.

I have started to reply to this thread like 3 times, but didn't want to stir the pot too much. I spoke to Alex last fall before that article was published about all the hating my a few guys on ARF.com and he enlightened me a little. Turns out it was all by the guys at FBMG. He had some dealings with them in the past and apperently they took advantage of his friendship and trust. They started hating on him but one of the guys convinced him that FBMG needed 2 XCRs for a magazine review and to show customers. I heard that Alex only sent 1 and told them that he promised the first XCR review to another author (more experienced than FBMG who were writing their first article, though Larry took credit). They again went against his wishes and I think that Alex cut them off as a dealer. The rest is history. Bottom line, they abused Alex and his generosity and he decided to stop buisness with them.

Again, some of this is from Alex and other is from what I have heard. They screwed Alex over more than once and talked just a little too much trash.
