It's probably the the Surefire grip.





Like I said before, the XCR could stand to lose a little weight. ;D

You got it all wrong, it's the thicker backstrap of the MIAD.

If you're looking to put it on a weight loss program send me the TA648. That should cut about 2.5 lbs.

I think it is the stock. The XCR skelton stock is just too light. I just think you need to add 10lb weights to the stock and the weapon would be nice and balanced.

I suspect the weight problem is the sherpa needed to tote it into combat.

Change the back strap on the MIAD grip and you'll notice an immediate difference!

I appreciate all the trouble shooting help. But Jack A Sol was the closest. I removed the rear BUIS and now it feels much better. I was so silly to think I needed such redundancy on an otherwise perfectly set up weapon. :D
