Inspiration

I got a couple of wooden crates at a recent gun show, and they gave me a little inspiration. They were only $4 dollars, so I couldn't pass them up. Here's the results of a couple days of work. I'm sure they'll be showing up in some other images in the future.

On another note, I really like the set up with the Cmore. It's really light and the field of view is better. Unfortunately there are no magnifiers or anything for it (not that I know of). And I don't think it's a very durable piece but I'm no expert on the subject.

Also, let me know which of these images you like the most (1,2,3, or 4).

Prizm,

You have done it again! They are GREAT photos of the XCR. Thanks for the time and effort I know it took to produce them.

BTW: I love the last one, followed by the first one.

Great work! :thanks:
I like the layout of the first one, but the back ground is a little distracting.
ya dont like the sheet metal roof or siding look ? i thougt it added intrest (grin)
Call me boring but I like the all white background but without the Beta Mag. The first one is nice too.
The last one for me.
1, 3, 4, 2

Very nice pictures, very nice rifle.
Whats with all the negative feedback?????

Show me some of your pics and lets see how they look against Prizm's work???

I love the pics! All of them!
how about a naked xcr, on red velvet?
I really like the set up. What kind of BUIS do you have on that and what is the c-more sight? pricey?

Nice work. Add 7.62x39 and perfection is born.

Ok... this one is for the freaky ones out there. Terra... you've got issues.

Troy industries for back up. That cmore is the Ar15 tactical, if I recall it's around 0. I've had that one for a couple of years now. That one has the rear aperture sight and cmore all in one unit. You can get them without the sight for around 0. That would allow you to use what ever sight combo you like.

How did you light them?
I've got several strobes I've collected over the years. The one on the white is lit with 2 softboxes and a couple of bare stobes on the back. The others are a combo of 5-7 lights with grids, snoots, softboxes, and gobos all working together. Set up is a bear.
Terra,

you will have to be careful of what you wish for on here! ;)

You might just get it.

I don't want to know where you got those props... HAHA... but it's my new background pic now. Thanks :D

You said a "naked xcr". What do you think an XCR has on before it gets naked? I found those things hidden in the receiver. ;D

I can't give out all my secrets but I can say that my wife is out of town right now. And if she wasn't she'd probably have a few questions for me. :'( I have a couple of hours to get things back where they belong. >:D
Once I get some of this wedding debt down getting an XCR again is high on my life.

Depending on what I think of Alex's "SCAR stock" I'm going to go your route; CTR with riser, HK416 sights, Aimpoint with ARMS mount. I'd like the 10" PDW model though.

I am missing my XCR big time
Prizm,

That stock on yours. It folds as well? I really like that. What is it?
