A lot or research is starting to be released about LH shooters and the need for LH firearms. Specifically, the increase has been do to RH shooters that are left-eye dominant. I spoke recently to a gun builder / engineer at a rifle company, thus, my source of the information.

It would be nice if the XCR was made in a LH configuration - imagine the competition to the AR for LH shooters.

I guess if it was cost effective there would be alot more makers producing the L/hand models, so to think a small company like RA could be able to do it, would be wishful thinking. ::)

It shouldn't be hard to at lease add an ambi safety and mag release to the XCR, since those were on the prototype. I imagine the upper receiver would be more work, and probably wouldn't be necessary, as it does have a shell deflector and ejects forward.

I honestly don't know but I don't see much involved in the installation of the selector switch. Give them a call, they are very easy to talk to. Tell em Aussie Roy sent ya! ;)

I don't mind the right side eject and actually like the charging handle where it is, so as a left-handed/eyed person I really don't see a Stag type left handed model as being necessary.
