Here real soon I am looking at getting a new rifle. Ones the list are:
AR-15 set up in a SPR configuration
Sig 556
A 6.5 Grendel rifle, from Alexander Arms
A 6.8 SPC rifle, looking at the Rock River LAR-6.8
I am not looking for a 7.62x39 rifle, If I am I will stick to the AK ( have had 3 and did not like any of them, I had issues with each of them)
I know that a XCR with the proper conversion kits will be the most cost effective for me.
I know what the AR platform is capable of at ranges 200+ yds. What can the XCR do at those ranges?
Are there any issues with parts stripping out from frequent caliber changes?

also one advantage to the xcr is it can fire steel case ammo. much cheaper to enjoy that way. wolf ammo about half the price of brass.... :ninja:

Don't worry about the XCR at extended ranges. I shoot steel silhouettes routinely at 250 and have no problem out to 450 (farthest I have shot it).
