My wife pick up a new BSA Platinum Mil-Dot 8-32 x 44mm scope for my birthday.I went to my local gun store and picked a pair of Weaver X-high rings to mount on my XCR.The rings were just not high enough, about the thickness of a piece of paper. Is there some out there with a suggestion, hopefully a different mount. I hope I will not have to use the see thru mount's.Thank's Mike ??? ???

Jump in the sauna. You'll sweat the difference out of your cheek weld. ;D Kidding aside, what stock are you using?

I was going to suggest Warne rings, that's all I use with their torque wrench. I had a Nikon scope with a 40mm objective, but found my cheek weld was off...So I bought a weaver 2-7X32 scope that let me use the Warne medium height rings. This gives me an absolute perfect cheek weld with the standard tube stock.
