I would say turn it clockwise. What an odd question 
New Adjustable Gas System question?
I have an XCR with the new adjustable gas system and have a question.
Does it matter which direction I turn the gas system to get from one number to the other?
For example, to go from setting 4 to setting 1, do I go through setting 3 and then 2 first, or can I turn it the other direction and go through S to get to 1?
I guess what I'm asking is should I turn it clockwise or counterclockwise in this scenario, or does it make no difference?

Yeah, kinda strange.
But it's a shorter distance to go from 4 to S to 1 (counterclockwise) than clockwise.
I just wanted to make sure turning it counterclockwise doesn't unscrew anything. I'd expect not, but never know.
