Just picked up an older type 1 with the ACE stock and full quad rail and I love it. My only regret is that I didn’t get one sooner. I’m looking for a type 1 7.62x39 conversion kit at the moment so I can clear out some of this ammo I’ve got, thank you all!

Welcome aboard! The old rifles are great, but you should pick up some spare parts (bho, firing pin, and oprod) as they pop up in the market place, as the legacy parts are no longer supported by RA. It can be updated to current parts, but the first gen with the tube folder is a modern classic that looks like pure sex.
