OK, what a POS, what were you thinking...

Seriously, it is a nice looking piece. I never have really seen the need for the AR pistols, seem like fun range toys but that is it. If I had money to blow I may buy one.

Yeah, fun is what its about mostly. I can't have an SBR in WA state and I'm not sure I would pay $200 for the privelidge anyway. This ain't a bad substitute for when you are having gunfights in broom closets or shooting zombies out of car windows. Another way to give the finger to "the man" when these are banned again, too.

Yeah, I definitely see the fun factor. I may build one some day, when I get bored trying to build 9mm, 22, 45 and whatever AR I decide to do. A Pistol with the flaming pig, that would be a fun range toy, especially in 6.8

I think they are awesome looking just like they are and may even have some advantages over SBRs in some very tight situations i.e. vehicles, camping tents, etc. How is it to control on rapid fire?

Actually, I haven't been able to get to the range with it yet. I got it before the holidays. Then, we've been in a deep freeze (e.g. -30 at night and only -15 during the day) for almsot two weeks until it finally broke today. Now it's snowing, windy and 37 degrees ABOVE ZERO! Hurray! So, hopefully this weekend I will get some range time.

Yeah, doesn't sound like great shooting weather. At least this is one of my new toys that I won't have to wait months to get. I should know in a few days how she feels. Good luck.

Thats a "Samson" rail and front sight. They're pretty spendy but worth it I think. Actually the factory quad doesn't look bad at all. I would have taken the gun either way but this is the configuration they had in stock so I went with it and paid a little more.
