Hey guys. Not meant to be an advertisement so mods if this is inappropriate please remove and accept my apologies. Just thought I'd let you guys know that if you're looking for the MagPul Pmags, they're here for $13.95 ea. They also have the HK steel mags for $39,95.

I am in no way affiliated with Botach, just got this ad in an email and thought I'd pass it along.

To all:

Let me give you my 2 cents on the magazine issue. P-Mags look great and are designed well. I've heard that the makers give them only a limited life. I've had vast experience with M-16 magazines including the thermold magazines which were and probably are the best plastic mags. They have a life of around 5,000 rounds.

For $14.95 you can buy a C-Products Stainless Steel 5.56 magazine which many feel are as good as the H&K 5.56 magazine. Check out their website. These are the best mags you can buy for the money - period!

I have alwats wondered about those stainless mags from them, but have never seen any expereinces with them so held back and bought the H&K's
Watch the torture test video. They are all put to the test. Under truck tires, etc. The only one to survive and still function, was the PMAG.

I put around a thousand through my XCR, Bushmaster, SU-16C, and PLR-16 this weekend using the PMAGS with no malfunctions of any kind.

They work for me. YMMV. 8)
I'm up to 10 now also. I used them to break in the XCR. No problems at all. Much nicer feeling to use than the aluminum or steel mags IMO.

I also use them in my Kel-Tec SU-16C and PLR-16 with perfect operation. They worked great in my Bushmaster M17S bullpup as well, with excellent function. I will be ordering more.

I'd lost one of the dust caps, and as I keep them loaded all the time I called MagPul to see if they'd send me a spare. Yesterday an envelope with 4 spare snap caps arrived.

I haven't noticed that the spring pressure has made any difference on the feed lips, but I guess it's a good idea for prevention just the same.

I have heard no bad reports on the Pmags from those who have actually used them. 8)
They are my duty mags now. They feed smooth and I like the window on my latest. I haven't find a down side to them yet.

That may be true for other thermold mags but I am not sure that this appllies to P-Mag. I can't imagine that they will die at 5k rounds. No disrepect for C-Products ~ they are very fine ~ but P-Mag are every bit as good (IMO). As for life only time will tell. For now anyway I will use P-mag over C-Prod everytime.
