Question about a NO BAN AK folder HELP!!!!

There is a Arsenal SAS M7 (NO BAN) folder in a local shop that I am considering buying. It has all the preban features (folding stock--not welded out in the full position, muzzle nut screws on and off) and again, as I said it is the (NO BAN model)

Lets say a ban goes in effect again, does this mean if I buy this weapon that the folding stock will have to be welded out in the full position and the muzzle nut welded on, or does this weapon apply since it was made after the ban lifted a few years ago.

I called a guy that does class III tranactions all the time and he said it would be fine and would be grandfathered in when the ban was lifted in 2004. Plus I live in a gun friendly state as well.
I would say get it if it is what you are looking for. i have heard those are some of the nicer shooting AKs.
If the price is right get it, the legal folding stock just makes the buy better. Does it have the russian style scope on the left side of the receiver? That's desireable as it allows mounting of your favorite optics. :2cents:
Right now is the time to buy what you can.

Anything that was banned during 1994-2004 even can be retrofitted with all the evil features! As long as the U.S. parts count complies with 922 legislation you are good to go.

If (God forbids) there is another AW ban on the Federal level it is doubtfull that you would have to convert them back as there is usually a grandfather clause (as in the last). It is doubtfull that there will ever be a wholesale confiscation in this country. I myself have thousands of dollars tied up in my hobby and come nowhere close to some folks. I doubt that confiscation or forcing people to pay the money to neuter their firearms will fly.

Buy it!
Don't be too naive. If we wind up with both a democratically controlled presidency and congress they could do anything they wanted to. That's why it's important to watch the other elections besides the presidency.

Do you have some firearms you would like to sell me cheap?

I'll be happy to assume your risk and financial exposure. ;)

Now's your chance!Act now before it's too late! ;D
