Hey, just wanted to see if anyone knows the lead time over at RobArms at the moment. At the end of this month will be 6 months for my 7.62 conversion kit.

Placed my order for the XCR the first week of Aug and was told it could take six months. Not surprised as I had to wait 9 months for my ACOG. Thank covid, and thanks Brandon.
I feel a little less worried hearing that.

In March, I thought I was told six months on my order for a XCR-L 5.56.

I was getting worried the email had not come through and they sold the rifle off to someone else.
From what I understand, you’d likely get a stamp back from the ATF quicker than your Robinson order. 😢
I was told 3+ months about a 300 BLK conversion when I asked last week.....but I think that was overly optimistic.

Eh, sounds about right. Guess I'll just have to be patient and wait another month or so.

yep, I broke down and ordered a gen2 Galil to fill that void, let's just say too much plastic, and the Galil mag conversion may be a gen 1 thing only. So back to waiting for the next best thing which is the XCR I ordered. A friend of mine waited 6 months for a SIG MCX cause of covid, but from what I have seen RobArm is slow in general. I emailed them to see if my FFL reached out to them and still haven't heard back from them, that was in September.
Last I heard, 6 month quotes were not being filled until 8-10 months at RA....JFYI.

I've got a rifle due in November (6 month mark)...but I'm guessing it'll be more like January at the earliest. Is what it is.

I don't know about that. I placed an order for an XCR-M when by XCR-L SBR came in to jail at my local dealer. It's a race and both are about three month past their expected dates at this point. +1 for Robinson not charging in advance.

The sense that I got was that they are or were prioritizing braced pistol orders for a while due to the proposed rule change. The 5.56 pistol that I got this summer from Kermit is my favorite gun I’ve ever shot, so I’m feeling very patient about the rifle that I’m waiting for. RA is working very hard to make truly great firearms, and I agree with Bret that it’s awesome that they don’t make you pay until your order is ready to ship.

Are you saying you expected Form 4 approval for your SBR three months ago?
Yes. My previous Form 4 approvals took about six months. My oldest one outstanding was submitted February 1st. It's been nine months and 18 days since then. They're definitely slowing down.

My last Form 4 took 15 months....
😲 Let's hope that I don't have your luck. I just purchased a Trijicon TA33 for my XCR-L. According to NFA tracker, people are starting to get approved Form 4's that were submitted in February.

Mine came in in May, IIRC.

Youch....that's a long wait on parts/conversions.
I was told 4 months and it took 6 so do some math on your order.

Just got a call from Alex.
So March 26 to November 19.
A couple days short of 8 months.
I think I was told six months.
