I'm not sure if I will be even considering ....... oh, heck yeah!!

the magpul UBR doesn't initially look like it will have an adjustable cheek riser. perhaps it will be offered as an extra later in production or a third party will design something for it. thats why a new SCAR style stock direct from robinson would be interesting to me.

I've been sort of lusting after one of the PRS or similar adjustable stocks for awhile, but actually I have no problems getting a good cheek weld on the folding tube stock so it's sort of taken a back seat for awhile.

The Magpul UBR, it looks very interesting but it doesn't seem to extend to a very usable lenght fof pull for a 6"3" guy to be able to use without armor. Any thoughts, comments, concerns? Can any one shed some light and help me with some information?

Since you are a tall shooter, you will need a stock that is going to collaspe, probly six postion, so that you can benefit in CQC and bench shooting (or bipod). The MagPul CTR on a Commercial buffer tube, or the LMT SOPMOD stock's are very nice also. The LMT has a cheek rest that is located on the top sides of the stock which also act as storage compartment. Plus if you get the side folding adapter which allows for the buffer tube to be installed in like the AR15, that will also give you about one inch more to better fit your height and reach. I hope that this helped alittle. Have a good night.

I currently have the CTR stock and think that is very well made and easy to use. I like the fact that it locks into position taking out any free play that some of the other stocks use.

Just from what I picked up in conversations, I don't think that the stock currently in development by RobArm is going to be a collapsible type stock but it should be able to be attached to the current folding adapter.

If Alex can do a copy of the SCAR stock, or his own pure design with the same features I'd definitely be after one. I particularly like the downward angle of the hinge so that the ejection port is clear when the rifle is folded. It makes it easier to manipulate in a vehicle if you can shoot it while the stock is folded.

He told me that it was still pretty rough and not something he wanted released to the public. I think he has some CAD type drawings but again, until patents are completed I am sure we wont see anything.
