Once you put it on the net, it's not "solely" yours anymore. :)
While it may be that anyone with an internet connection can download any image and use it for their own purpose, the copyright still belongs to the photographer (or his employer, if working on a "for hire" basis). The copyright holder can send an email to the web site in question and they are supposed to remove it from their servers immediately, or negotiate a license agreement. If the copyright holder has registered the image with the US Copyright Office, he or she can also collect damages for the illegal use of the image. Without the registration, the copyright holder can only claim actual losses for the illegal use, and that doesn't include legal fees incurred by the copyright holder.

Was she the Robinson booth babe at a trade show? Looks like she's standing in front of a display.

Good luck trying to get your images back under control. Once you post it on the internet, you have basically by definition allowed anyone to copy it. Watermarking and not putting up full resolution images are about all you can for stuff that you want to display but want to protect from re-use.
