Those are nice looking rifles ,i had never seen one before.
The Bottom Rifle here is a Stoner M63 ,But the top one is an M96 ,both of these belong to a guy who worked in the Weaponieer group.
The M96 he converted to 308 ,he said it took Milling the ejection port ,beefing up springs ,removing the gas adjustment , making the mag well accept an M14 Mag .You can tell by where the gas tube is ,and you can see the ears on top of the receiver its a M96.
The stock he had made to match the M63. Some parts he had made , but over all the M96 worked out well. the first one is always the hardest , and he has built two for friends , But he said he had 1400 in it above the cost of the rifle and not including his labor.
But the next two were down to 800.
