Is it more accurate than a AK?

MIR, RobArms tested the XCR in 7.62x39, and say yes the XCR is more accurate than the AK. There is a post if you research a little. Ammo quality has always been a problem with the 7.62x39. :2cents:
I will be interested to see what the XCR can do accuracy-wise with good ammo as well.

Originally I thought the x39 would be my first priority caliber conversion for the XCR, since I sold off my AK, still have ammo, and no rifles to shoot it in. But now that I am reloading, the 6.x calibers are looking more attractive.

Even assuming the XCR is up to the task, getting accuracy out of x39 would still require handloading, so might as well do it with a higher velocity/better ballistic round, right?

I wonder what I could get for my stash of steel cased x39. (Wolf, Brown Bear, etc)
How much ya got? What do you want for it? ;D ;D ;D :ninja:
Actually my Arsenal AK is very accurate even with steel case ammo. About 3" groups. The AK sites really suck though, you can be fairly accurate with them if you practice enough, but even they are very slow. Not fast like AR iron sites.
I've shot 5 shot groups at 100 yards using Russian Baranul ammo. measuring 1.5" I've shot 5 shot groups under 1" with American Eagle. I cannot do that every time with American Eagle because it's not match ammo. I don't reload.

We made some M96 Rifles in 7.62x39mm. I've got government reports which say that they equaled or beat the accuracy of the M4. Kind of interesting isn't it. The government used Winchester 7.62x39mm.
