Oh but poor Obama , he had to just happen to go to Hawaii ,just three days before the court deadline for him to turn over his birth certificate from Hawaii was to run out.
And now ,just one day before the election, and he was getting torn apart over the bankrupting the coal industry remarks his grand mother dies.
And it is such a shame that the media cant find any record of this woman ,or where she even was.
Put Obama is a trooper ,he is going to stay with the campaign even though the Polls say he is winning.
And he had such a tearful eye today as he announced that any homes that the Feds had to bail out will be subject to public housing.
Its spread the wealth you know. And the right was nice enough to drop the coal thing just like we were so nice in congress for all these years.
I am so sure the Liberals will remember us for that.

I think I wouldn't be too upset with him on this one. To me it wouldn't matter where my family from but that they are family and all treated the same. I'd be willing to bet that she wouldn't have wanted him to tend to her funeral and such when there is an election so very near. On the flip side if he DID leave the campaign trail people would be giving him a hard time for not taking the election seriously enough.

I don't like him, but give him a break on this one.

As for the coal workers and such... ouch...

If carbon credits/fines/limits ,whatever name they use now, were started,
then I could see the power companies stopping production when they hit a limit.

2 days a month of blackouts and 4 months later thing will be back the way they are now.

I am not sure if this is a nation-wide or just a Texas thing but industries trade/buy credits from each other all the time.
