Took the wife and daughter for a little family time slingin’ some lead.

My daughters 10/22 ran like a top!

Next up was my wife with her FAVORITE rifle - XCR-L in 5.56.

10 shots from the first mag without a hiccup (and not a half bad group)... when she changed mags, fired the first round -BANG, next round CLICK....clear the weapon, check the ejected primer - reload it in the mag and BANG, next round - CLICK...look at the bolt and firing pin and it looks like smooth shiny brass filling the firing pin channel all flush with the bolt face!?!

I begin to poke and pry and try to clear the tip of the firing pin...THIS FELL OUT!! Looks like brass remnants deformed and filled the firing pin channel?

Pin look alright now that the debris is cleared?
