For those who have served ,and for the memory of those who never came Home.
Thank You ,and our gratitude and freedom are the things we all know are the things we have to show us ,the sacrifice your lives and efforts have brought us.
You will not be forgotten , nor ever scorned , and we will live our lives in a way befitting your ultimate sacrifices and love for America .
From the battlefields of the Revolution ,to the pain and suffering of our Civil War. We remember the Trenches of France , and the Generation who gave all they had to keep America alive ,and safe from Tyranny.
Those who were lost in the jungles of Asia , and the ones now who fight and bleed in the sands of the Middle East.
Trust America ,that we know you have never served or died in vain , and we will not let that fact ever elude the generations to come.
Your will to sacrifice ,even your life for freedom , Has freed not only your Country ,but Millions in the years this great Nation and her people has been set upon this World ,to be the Beacon of Hope and light of what GOD has intended men to be.
We are Humble this day ,and bless you and your family's for enduring the dedication you have given , so they we may not fade into the Night.
GOD bless you all. America

My wifes the only person who said anything to me on veterans day. And just about everyone I know knows I fought in Iraq. But then again most people didn't even release it was veterans day when I mentioned it. That and most of the people I know where busy freaking out about finals.... (I had 2 on veterans day! Lame.)

I will say it for them Thank You for your service and sacrifices. It is a shame though that people take their freedoms for granted, they never think of the men and women that serve and even give the ultimate sacrifice willingly to protect them and their freedoms. I know I will never take it for granted, every time I see a veteran I try and Thank them and shake their hand, sometimes I try to buy them a meal or a tank of gas, just to try and thank them for all they have done.

My first post and I wanted to say thanks to those who passed thanks and respects. I truly appreciate it. I spent 23 years in the Army and still work for them.
A very, very, nice young Airline worker in Hawaii was checking my bags recently (close to Veteran's Day) and she waived the $50 baggage fee and then thanked me. I was amazed and thankful, as thanks usually come from folks I know. My respect and thanks to all.
