Wait times?

I am looking to buy a replacement for my old AR, but find myself waffling between the SIG and the XCR. Can anybody tell me what the current waiting/delivery time for an XCR is from the time it is ordered?

I was quoted 7 weeks, which will be sometime the first week of November, so we'll see how accurate that turns out to be.
It depends on what you want, and where the guys at RobArm are in their production.

At the time of my last call to RobArm today, they were working on the heavy barreled version of the XCR, and if you are quick you might get one of these in a couple of weeks if you order now, but if you are wanting the light barrel version the wait time is said the be 7 to 9 weeks.
RA has a list of dealers on there web site. Call the dealers in your area, one might have one on the shelf. I found one at my local dealer- Waite time 20 min.
Kermit Zahn may well be your best supplier, do a search on the forum. Great chap

I'm located in San Antonio and called Durys Gun Shop who is listed on the website as the local dealer, but they do not carry any inventory. I'll inquire further tomorrow at the store as I have to swing by anyway to pick up my new shotgun.

Judging by Alex's comments on the "What would you do to fix/improve your XCR" thread, I might be better off waiting for some of the new features that will be available shortly, like the new stock and the new trigger.
I bought mine at CHAMPION'S in College Station TX. I saw 2

Thanks for the info. Now that I know other features which I want will be available shortly, I think I'll just hold off and see what develops. I've got enough new toys to play with anyway, so putting off another new gun purchase probably wouldn't hurt :)

I can get an XCR in about 5 minutes. Utah is well stocked. http://xcrforum.com/index.php?topic=57.0
