Yep, some people are just uninformed, to use a nice word. However, this really doesn't mean much since historically, blacks vote democratic 90% of the time regardless of the candidate. I am sure some people are voting for Obama just because he is black just like some will vote for McCain because he is white.

Mickey, it's not just Harlem. If it was, I wouldn't be so "down" on the electorate.
I've talked to LOTS of people about politics. That kind of ignorant apathy is rampant from the east coast to the west coast.

This next statement will come accross as racist so I appologize to any I offend.
African countries did well under white rule. Once the locals took over with promises similar to those of Obama....well look at the place now. socialist economics don't work, even when wrapped in centralist/right wing paper.
Obama is just like Blair in the UK. It's scary to see that history of just the last decade will be repeated.

South Africa once a Jewel of a tourist mecca ,is now all but reduced to cannibalism and tribal warfare..
Whites have long sense left the outer provinces , The housing the Government built for the Blacks has now been reduced to rubble.
A lot of Blacks say that the Apartheid Government had never messed with them , they had a good job and a Home ,Their kids were going to Collages that now do not exist .
They want to know why the world listened to the cry's of a few radicals over the pleas of those who were the majority.
They Blame Americas Liberal Hollywood types during the festival at Sun City.

Now America may indeed get what it has sewn.
