I'll believe this when I see one on a dealer's shelf.

If, by some chance, they do end up selling commercial 416 uppers, I'm willing to be they will not be cheap. Look at the latest variation of the SL8. I've seen three ranging from $1800 to $2200. That's obscene for that rifle. I predict--IF they become available--a retail of around $2200 for the upper. At least it is just an upper and you won't have to deal with FFL foolishness.

HK isnt going to sell a parts gun. Never going to happen.

I suspect $2000 for a complete carbine, as the LEO model hovers between $1500-1700

The only thing that worries me is because it is a H&K they have to charge the "It's a H&K so it must be more expensive" up charge. Because you know SEALS use it so it has to be more expensive.
