Looking to get a shorty 308 pistol with the gen 3 gas block. I know it's a long shot, but worth the shot.
Link? I only see keymod 223 versions availableRA just sent an email out with a 16” version in stock ready to ship.
It might be worth it to buy that, then wait on a short barrel vs hoping to find a shorty for sale.

Was it the old 'mini' length though? The 12" buried Type 3 block won't fit in a standard upper unless you machine the interior like I did.RA just sent an email out with a 16” version in stock ready to ship.

Standard upper with type 3 block that just pokes out. Obviously 16” as mentioned, but I think if you’re on the hunt for one, it’s better to buy an in-stock one then order the barrel you want than wait 6+ months. Was it the old 'mini' length though? That's what she said.Post a side profile pic please. I haven’t seen a 12”

That's the micro. I chose a mini so that I'm not permanently married to the 12 inch barrel. I may just find a 14.7 barrel and have it chopped to 13.7 so I can gain rifle rights that shouldn't have been taken away in the first place. Here is a 9.5” 308 from RA Facebook page. They just posted it. That’s a standard upper for the M, right?

I agree. I definitely want to pick up an M SBR at some point. I think a 12” is probably ideal, but I prefer the can to sit tight against the hand guard. One of these 308 pistols are pretty high on my want list as well. They're cool AF! Congrats on finding one!
No, the 9.5" is a mini upper....here's mine:Here is a 9.5” 308 from RA Facebook page. They just posted it. That’s a standard upper for the M, right?

Unless you're willing to do what I did (or RA changes the standard upper or makes an -M "Midlength" like they're doing for the -L), you'll have to live with an exposed gas block to get the 12" bbl.I agree.
