Will the XCR continue to operate reliably if receiver buffer comes apart with age/heavy use or falls out? I guess what I'm trying to ask is will firing rifle without buffer damage it?
I am willing to wager no one has shot it enough to wear the buffer, or been brave enough to pull it out and shoot without it. May take some time to get an answer on this
That is true. Maybe Terra or Alex will chime with some info from reliability testing. Surely the rifle has been tested with buffer missing. If it was built to be a military grade rifle its got to be grunt proof right?
I'll admit, I'm too chicken to try it on my rifle. ;D
