Looking for the older fixed stock adapter for the XCR. Someone sold me the folding stock but it didn’t come with an adapter and Robinson doesn’t sell them anymore. Took a pic from the parts page so you can see what I’m looking for. Thanks.
I already asked. He doesn’t have itI'd see if the person that sold you the stock will also sell you that part. Not sure what else they could be using it for.
Odd. Good luck with it. I'd guess finding that part is going to be difficult since it will be part of a stock and even if someone switched out to an ACR, they're going to want to sell the stock complete with that part attached. You might have luck on Canadian gun forums....I already asked. He doesn’t have it
actually you’re in luck. Robinson does have the fixed stock adapters available. There was a miscommunication Between them and I on what part. Unfortunately it’s still not the part I need but if you need a fixed stock adapter it should be great for you. Give them a callI'm looking too. Trying to find a way to attach an ACR fixed stock to a M. Don't think there is a way to adapt a Lucky Irishman adapter to make it work. Any ideas?
Not a chance. The mount of the ACR fixed stock is built for the ACR and can't just be screwed into anything else. It's actually part of the rifle's recoil buffering system, so it's a very large and solid part. From what I can see, the main body of the ACR fixed stock is solid and there isn't a way for you to remove the rear buffer/stock mount and replace it with anything else like you can with the ACR folding stock. Making an XCR to ACR adapter would be inadvisable; said adapter would be thin and hollow and would add about 1" to the length of pull. You'd be better off using the ACR folding stock for the XCR.Does anyone know if the fixed stock adapter will work with an ACR fixed stock?
